Indeed Mr Walrus! Will you indeed? It behoves me to warn you of the dangers of that accursed fluid and recommend, heartily, that you do not dispose of such down your gullet.
But ....
if you feel you will be safe and suffer no repercussions, then I gladly send all my alcohol to you.
The only trouble is.....
there isn't any left!!!

Hoo-ray for you, wifey.
I'm here if you ever need some moral support. I'm not against alcohol in moderation--heck white wine is actually supposed to be good for you, but alcohol can also become an invisible emotional crutch, a surrogate fair-weather friend that prevents you from moving forward with your life.
Oh, am I sounding too preachy? Sorry. I just am proud of you--quitting something you have become dependent on, no matter what it is, can be incredibly hard. Sending you a big virtual hug.-

It's been 8 days now.
I knew I was getting bad but then seeing myself in the mirror that morning was truly awful.
And you are so right, I was using alcohol as a crutch and a friend. I had no idea that I viewed alcohol as my friend until I woke up to the fact a week ago.
It's would have been silly to have found a life without depression, only to have given my life away to alcohol and that seems to be what might have been happening.
